Our Ministry Goals:
1. MULTIPLICATION
Equipping leaders to train other adults, adding many more qualified Secondary
Nurturers into the harvest fields.
2. TRANSFORMED LIVES
Kids and their families changed through the love and power of Jesus Christ.
The number of at-risk kids is growing. School systems do not have the answers
to overcome this exploding problem. Secular after-school programs cannot provide
the solution, which is the living Jesus Christ. 
Many church-based ministries,
using (or actively) pursuing government funding are also not capable of introducing
kids to Christ. Social service professionals and law enforcement officials have no
long lasting solutions. But our wholistic programs (spiritual, physical, social,
intellectual, emotional) empowers neighborhood churches, located in critical areas,
to respond positively by providing the long term, Biblically-based answers to generational
crises.
Training new leaders is not an option. We must move ahead as more and more children and youth are endangered by failing systems, ultimately driving adult crime as well as further destroying crumbling family systems.
We prepare dedicated adults to return to their churches prepared to train (multiply) more adults to walk through life with children and youth as Secondary Nurturers Our method has been proven through other Christian organizations with whom our professional team has worked over the past twenty plus years.
Launched in 2001, KidTrek serves in the Kingdom of Christ by training and empowering caring adults in local churches to walk with at-risk kids through life. The organization started dynamically when Wanda Parker, after more than thirty years of working with children and families, felt the Lord call her to take a step of faith. KidTrek’s emphasis is on children, those who are at-risk, living in neighborhoods where violence or drugs are epidemic, where single parents are unable to nurture children, much less rear them according to Scripture. KidTrek equips adults to bring light to this darkness; resulting in a hope-filled, Christ-centered future for kids.
